Thinking of moving or upgrading to Clickfunnels 2.0?

Not so fast.

I am going to break down 3 reasons you need to rethink that decision.

Clickfunnels is great at the hype but I want you to take a step back and take a really good look at Clickfunnels 2.0.

In this post, I will break down

  • Is Clickfunnels 2.0 All It Is Cracked Up To Be?

  • Why Clickfunnels 2.0 Is Going To Cost You More Than Money

  • Comparing Clickfunnels 2.0 to Go High Level

Clickfunnels is great at the hype.

Clickfunnels is great at marketing and I have learned a lot from them and I'm grateful for it.

With that being said, here's the issue:

We've got Beatrice. She has bought into this hope and the dream sold by Clickfunnels 2.0 and has given them her last $2,000 - she has never built a business and has no marketing experience.

She probably doesn't even know how to open her email.

She is not going to be able to make money with Clickfunnels, this is disheartening.

This is a set of values that I want you to pay attention to.

The other thing that is a real misalignment for myself and others and one of the reasons that we are bailing on faster than a sinking boat…

Clickfunnels 2.0 is not ready.

They do not do what they say they're going to do when they say they're going to do it, how would they say they're going to do it.

Full Stop

It is not a platform where you're going to be able to build and grow a stable viable business.

Lipstick On A Pig

At this time and based on what I've seen over the last three months that I have really dug into this is that they are still doing the typical Clickfunnels thing and throwing lipstick on everything and making it look pretty.

When the back end is not doing what it needs to do.

Let's take a look at the change log for both Clickfunnels 2.0 and Gohighlevel.

First up, Clickfunnels

https://feedback.myclickfunnels.com/

The Clickfunnels editor has some bug fixes, fantastic we want to be fixing bugs on a new platform.

It's going to have a few. They're going to work out those kinks.

Then we've got some improvements and we've got a new feature: New Webhook: Subscription Churned.

Next, Go High Level

https://highlevel.canny.io/

Go High Level - for the month of February we've got a few changes:

Authorized.net the new payment processor is in beta and we've got some Eliza filtering options.

The next place we go is to the Facebook groups.

Let's take a look at the Clickfunnels group and under the features, we can see that they have another update inside of Clickfunnels.

As of February 9th, they've got some search and filter enhancements.

Let's take a look at the High Level Facebook group.

They have the featured area where famously Sean drops an update every day, usually or a couple a day.

We've got Google Sheets - so in the past, Go High Level has been able to grab information from outside and pull it in. Now we will have the capability to send info out of Go High Level to an external app.

Very exciting.

This will save us a few Zapier dollars.

Plus:

  • blogging updates

  • funnel updates

  • email reporting

  • reasons tabs back (they listened to the community)

  • sneak peek into memberships

  • payment authorizations

  • new form folders were just dropped

What you see here is a difference in the development, which should be alarming because Clickfunnels is in development. 2.0 is not even ready yet.

I think Clickfunnels is getting more than a few “what’s going on questions”. So they have come out with:

clickfunnels.com/pulse

Oh my gosh, what's new with Russell, let me have a look.

Well in February, they've got a new funnel workflow.

What they're showing is the 2.0 funnel builder and if we take a look at the High Level, they've got a brand new funnel builder coming as well.

The whole new UI is changing and we have seen a little sneak peek on the February Go High Level Town Hall you can see a whole overhaul is coming this is in a blog post here: https://pamelajoandale.com/blog/b/go-high-level-february-2023-town-hall

This one is the update that gets me worked up.

They have in Clickfunnels 109 new page templates and secrets to the style guide.

Well, what are you styling Russell?

Are you styling a funnel that you can't actually connect your calendar to that you can't connect your email to that doesn't work?

This is alarming. This is something I think you need to pay attention to. I want you to hear what's underneath this.

You’re a business owner.

I want to ask Russell a question. Why are you razzling and dazzling me with page templates and a funnel builder when the thing isn't working?

That's point number one, let's go to point number two:

Clickfunnels is going to cost you more than money.

You have to move from 1.0 to 2.0, you know that you can move 1.0 right into Go High Level.

Clickfunnels doesn’t even have the ability to move you from 1.0 to 2.0.

I don't even want to theorize why that might be happening.

I got a few ideas, and none of them make Russell look any good.

But give that a think around the affiliates. 🙂

The next thing is, there are additional fees on top of your Stripe processing fees inside of Clickfunnels.

For Payments.ai. It is not really written anywhere. It's kind of sneaky in the back, and I don't like it, I think it's dirty.

Why wouldn't you put it right out there that you have to pay additional fees?

Here are the links to those documents, so you can have a look at them.

https://intercom.help/paymentsai/en/articles/6590963-pricing-policy

https://intercom.help/paymentsai/en/articles/6590970-payments-ai-gateway-transactions-fees

It is okay if that's what you need to do. But other apps don't do that.

So my question is what's really going on? Right? Different values are not good, not bad, not right, not wrong, just not in line with my values.

And that's what I want you to pay attention to because you're gonna get in over there. And it's hard to move.

You already have to move. Are you going to move to something that's ineffective?

The next thing it's going to cost you is time.

You not only have to move your funnels, which can take three months, but you also have to wait until the next piece of 2.0 is ready for you to actually expand and grow your business.

That is dangerous, you're in a business, if it's a million-dollar business, go three months, let's do the math on that.

You don't even know that you can trust the owner, because he hasn't done what he said he was going to do.

That's what alarms me, the building of new funnel templates, taking priority resources, time, headspace, etc. over at Clickfunnels versus building the actual platform.

So do you want to get yourself involved with that?

That's something you have to think through.

And then since you have to move anyway, why would you take a look at something else, at what else would be out there?

I would recommend Go High Level - you knew that was coming.

Go High Level just makes sense.

And I want you to take a good look at it and make the move.

Go High Level listens to its customers.

If you don't like something, and you can get a few people to vote it up, they will make the change. They will listen, and they will take their developers and move them into that project.

So I want you to hear the values that are happening underneath, we've got generosity, we've got transparency, community etcetera.

Because you don't need lipstick, you need something that's actually going to work.

And when I walk into the Go High Level app every single day, there is a UI change, there is a new button, a new function, this works better, that's faster.

They are improving the front and the back.

And it's really hard to build something so big, like what Clickfunnels 2.0 is trying to build without the input of their people.

That's what I want you to hear.

They are not taking input from the people. There's no place where you have a forum where you can go in and ask for features.

It's so big that it's almost impossible for them to go back and do the thing that they said they were going to do.

They built a monster.

And I asked Shawn personally, who is it out there that you're concerned about? And he said none of the big ones. Why? Because they have too big of a foundation. And they're not agile enough. There's no way they can catch them.

They're watching for the new people that are coming because they could.

So you have to make a decision.

Values, money, time, and where's the best place for you to plant your business and your family.

You need an implementer no matter what you're going to do.

And if you'd like to work with me, I would love that.
