In this post, I am breaking down all things Payment Processors - Comparing Clickfunnels 2.0 to GoHighLevel.

Taking payments from within software to sell your services, courses and goods are what online marketing is all about.

High Level and Clickfunnels 2.0 have the ability to process payments through the software.

Currently, Clickfunnels 2.0 has Payments AI that include:

The Q 4 roadmap for High Level looks very sexy!

As you can see by the slide I “screenshotted” from Go High Level’s monthly Town Hall meeting there are many more payment options coming in Q4 of 2022.

There are a number of new payment processors coming to High Level including:

• Apple Pay

• Google Pay

• Affirm

• Klarna

• Afterpay

• Bank redirects

• ACH Direct Debit

And new payment gateways:

• Authorize.net

• NMI

The more payment processors available to you the more you can sell in more parts of the world.

As Stripe has many limitations on location and industry that they will allow to process payments from.

PayPal is also a great option for smaller purchases but also has limitations and there is a bit of fear around PayPal one day sending you an email that they have blocked your account and are holding funds. #nothefirsttime

This is also known to happen with Stripe if there is a change in the $$ flowing through your merchant account - if they deem you high risk they have been known to freeze your account for 6 months.

The need for more payment processors is real.

So at first glance, it would appear that Clickfunnels 2.0 has taken this round…

But not so fast.

Payment Fees

Word on the street is that Clickfunnels had an additional “fee” associated with payments taken within their software.

I went to the pricing page and found this:

But, I had a sneaky suspicion there was more to the story… And there was.

I reached out to support about the additional fees and below was their response.

I understand the costs associated with doing business. I am not familiar enough with Payments AI to state what is really happening here - is it a fee Clickfunnels has added or is it theirs or what the story is…

What I do have a problem with is that I had to dig to find the answers and it is very misleading at best and downright dirty rotten scoundrel at worst.

Good News…

No Extra “Hidden” Fees In GoHighLevel Payments

I am watching Clickfunnels closely… This type of behavior is why I left - there is a huge gap in our values.
